I am a person-centred counsellor who works with clients to support each person through their own process and understanding of themselves and how they come across to others.
I am a facilitator in the client process rather than leading it, however where needed I will support a client with making decisions about how to start.
I work based on trust, honesty and openness.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and work within their ethical framework.
My main areas of interest and experience are queer identities, gender identity (including cis, trans, enby, and intersex), poly relationships, families with mixed ethnic and/or religious backgrounds, growing up as a third culture child, disability/illness (including hidden), domestic abuse and difficult parenting/parented relationships.
I also have a particular interest in the intersection of faith and sexuality/gender (especially Islam) and experience in supporting parents of trans+ people through their unique and specific journey.
I work online over video call only.
The initial 20 minute consultation is free and allows us to decide if we want to work together in a counselling setting.
After this sessions are 50 minutes each.
Sessions are £40 for daytime and £45 for evening.
I am open to working with any kind of client, regardless of lifestyle and history.
You can get in contact with me by email, telephone or the contact form on this website.
Please note that given the nature of counselling, I am often unable to answer the telephone so you may need to leave a voicemail.
My data privacy notice is available below my contact form.
